Anuradhapura District Scouts Celebrate International Day of Peace with Messengers of Peace (MOP) Awards Ceremony.
The Anuradhapura District branch of the Sri Lanka Scout Association celebrated the International Day of Peace under the global theme “Act Now for a Peaceful World” at the North Central Province Education Department Auditorium.
The ceremony was held under the patronage of North Central Province Assistant Center Manager, Mr. K.B. Anura Ranjith Kumara, with the participation of the Anuradhapura District Commissioner Mr. Sumith Amarathunga, Assistant District Commissioners, Scout Leaders, Scout District Officers, Scouts, and parents.
A special highlight of the program was the presentation of awards to Scouts and Leaders for their outstanding contributions to peace-building, environmental action, and sustainability.
